Comparison of LCD screen and OLED screen

01 Imaging effect
Because LCD has a backlight layer, it emits light by refracting light, the color saturation is not so high, and the display effect is more natural. Correspondingly, the LCD screen is not easy to be tired when watching it for a long time, and it is more eye-friendly.
OLED can emit light by itself, and each pixel can project light of three primary colors of red, green and blue, so the display effect is more vivid and full. However, since the OLED screen cannot guarantee the same light-emitting effect of each sub-pixel, it is also prone to screen burn-in.

02 Screen thickness
The LCD screen is relatively thick and cannot be bent, which also determines that mobile phones with this screen have relatively large borders, such as the iPhone 11. OLED screens, on the other hand, are thinner and bendable.
As mobile phones become more and more full-screen, major mobile phone manufacturers are increasing the screen-to-body ratio of mobile phones, hoping to hide more components under the screen, such as screen fingerprints, under-screen cameras, etc. Thin, thin and bendable is just in line with the development needs of a full screen, so more and more mobile phones are now using OLED screens.

03 Service life
The LCD screen uses inorganic materials, while the OLED screen uses organic materials, which age faster. Therefore, the LCD screen is advantageous in terms of service life.

Comparing LCD screen and OLED screen, it can be found that both have their own advantages and disadvantages, but they are not perfect. If the OLED screen is a player with unlimited potential, then the LCD screen is also a player with stable performance. Everyone can choose according to their own preferences when purchasing.
